Tracking Uranus

Celestron Origin captured a 1.27° x 0.85° field centred on Uranus on November 3, 2024. It was clear and 3°C. Uranus was located in Taurus. The variable V1124 Tau was located in the field of view on this date.

Five days later Uranus was near the 8th-magnitude star HD 21836. It was partly cloudy and 8°C. This image was centered on the star TYC 1242-0100-1 (white label). Two galaxies are nearby, LEDA 1575162 and 1577485 (blue labels).
